Japanese class: level, schedule and number of students
1. Level I
There are 3 beginner classes, that are held once a week on
Monday 17:00 - 19:00
Wednesday 15:00 - 17:00
Friday 17:00 - 19:00
At the time being, there is an average of 20 students for every class.
In this class basic notions of Japanese language and the sillabaries Hiragana, Katakana and some Kanji are learnt.
2. Level II
There are 2 clasees for level II.
Thursday 17:00 - 19:00
Friday 15:00 - 17:00
For this level there is an average of 20 students learning Japanese.
They have acquired basic grammar skills, simple conversation skills, 400 word vocabulary and 80 Kanji.
3. Level III
Wednesday 17:00 - 19:00
There are about 10 students in this class.
They learn basic grammar,dairy conversation skills,reading, 800 vocabulary and 150 Kanji.
Some of the students also prepare for JLPT level 4.
4. Level IV
Friday 17:00 - 19:00
There are about 10 students in this class.
The goals of this claas are: fluent conversation skills, readning and writing skills and
preparation for level 3 of JLPT.
5. Level V(advanced)
Tuesday 17:00 - 19:00
The number of students is about 7.
In this class, they learn with materials for intermediate level and authentic materials(newspaper,news,etc.).They also prepare for level 2 of JLPT.
The annual structure of the Japanese class
There are two semesters every year.
The first semester begins in the second half of January and ends at the end of June. The second semester begins in the second half of September and ends in the first week of December.
